Dueling GOP Gubernatorial Campaigns
The Republican race for governor of Illinois includes at least one person who's never run for office before. Adam Andrzejewski took on the Yellow Pages with his competing "Home Pages," and now he is trying to convince voters he is the true outsider.

Andrzejewski, in a conference call with reporters Monday, touted his "every dime online in real time" idea for making state finances public. He criticized those in power now for not even knowing how many state programs or how many state funds even exist. And he says even his fellow Republicans refuse to stand up to the controlling Democrats.

When told of Andrzejewski's plan for accountability and transparency, State Sen. Matt Murphy (R-Palatine) chuckled and said, "It sounds like he described me and what we need." Murphy is preparing his own campaign for governor. Another GOP state Senator and gubernatorial candidate, Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), says you need to be at least a little on the inside -- experienced working with legislators.

Other Republicans in the race are State Sen. Kirk Dillard (R-Hinsdale) and DuPage County Board Chairman Bob Schillerstrom.
