Man Jailed in Henderson County After Knife Incident
An argument is leading to a felony charge against a Little York resident accused of cutting a man.

Henderson County Sheriff Mark Lumbeck says deputies arrested 26-year old Jesse Gillen around 2:30 Monday afternoon in Stronghurst for aggravated battery. Gillen's arrest followed a confrontation involving a knife between him and 30-year old Jared Knustrom of rural Gladstone in an alley.

Lumbeck says Gillen and Knustrom were arguing over an alleged residential burglary that occurred last weekend. Gillen allegedly cut Knustrom's right arm and abdomen, requiring treatment at Great River Medical Center.

Lumbeck says Gillen is on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections and a corrections warrant was issued for him late Monday afternoon. He's being held without bond in the Henderson County Jail.
