Peoria Police Investigate Homicide
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Peoria police say they are investigating the city's eighth homicide of the year.

Officers say a 32-year-old Central Peoria man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds late Friday morning. They say someone had apparently kicked in his back door.

The victim has been identified as Eric D. Donelson, and family members said he had moved to the home only a short time ago.

Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll has scheduled an autopsy for Saturday.

Peoria Police Capt. Robert Baer said no suspects were in custody Friday, and he did not disclose a possible motive for the shooting.
