Bragg Approved in Buffalo Grove
Galesburg's City Manager Dane Bragg will officially soon be leaving the city.

Bragg has been officially approved by the Village Board in Buffalo Grove, a Chicago suburb, according to a Daily Herald newspaper article.

The Village president and trustee sang Bragg's praise during the Monday meeting, according to the article, in which Bragg attended with his family.

Bragg had apparently been house hunting during the day before the meeting.

As new village manager in Bufffalo Grove, Bragg will receive a base salary of $170,000.

Bragg says one of the biggest differences he will face is the suburban market as opposed to a rural one he dealt with in Galesburg.

Bragg says he will be finishing up his duties in Galesburg in the next few weeks.
