Man Arrested in Connection With June Pizza Robbery
A Galesburg man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a pizza delivery man at gunpoint.

The incident happened last month when the delivery man was bringing a pizza to the 100 block of North Pleasant Street.

The man could not find the address, so he called the customer. The customer said he had given the wrong address, it was really in the 100 block of South Pleasant Street.

When the delivery man found the home, he was met by a black male with a handgun who demanded the pizza and money.

19-year old London Golden has been arrested for the robbery.

According to a city press release, Golden was taken into custody Monday after an investigation and a search warrant was executed.

Golden is being held in the Knox County Jail as he awaits a court appearance.
