Reporter Arrested at Blago Trial
CHICAGO (AP) -- A Wall Street Journal reporter covering the Rod Blagojevich corruption trial was arrested for allegedly failing comply with rules in Chicago's federal court building.

U.S. Marshals spokeswoman Belkis Cantor says Douglas Belkin of Chicago was waiting in a designated reporters' area in the Dirksen Federal Courthouse's lobby when he left the area to pursue an interview.

Cantor alleges the 42-year-old reporter was ordered to stop, but didn't.

He received a misdemeanor citation Wednesday for failure to comply with signs and directions, and touching a U.S. Marshal.

Belkin, who was released from custody, will have a hearing. A date hasn't been set.

Wall Street Journal spokeswoman Ashley Huston says Belkin was wrongfully arrested and charged with petty offenses for routine newsgathering. She says the paper will fight the charges.
