Adam Family Explains Why Blago Didn't Testify
Jurors never heard testimony from ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich in his political corruption trial, even though there were told they would. Blagojevich's attorneys don't think that will have a negative impact.

Blagojevich defense attorney Sam Adam Jr. says everything has changed from the start of the trial up until now -- so much so that his father, Sam Adam Sr., advised Blagojevich not to testify.

Adam Jr. doesn't see that as harming the case. "You have to sit down and examine it and say to yourself one thing, look did I tell them this, is there a harm when I go back and look at them on Monday and say look, I promised you, [and] he wasn't there, certainly, we're adults, we know it, but is that harm greater than putting him on the stand and saying that we think they proved you guilty here you need to answer... we don't need to answer that," Adam Jr. said.

Meanwhile, attorney Adam Sr. believes that the testimony of Blagojevich's brother Robert helped the case. He says he is 100 percent confident that Blagojevich will be found not guilty.

Jurors have been dismissed for the rest of the week and closing arguments are expected on Monday.
