Appellate Court Wants Hearing on Blago Names
CHICAGO (AP) -- An appellate court wants the federal judge presiding over Rod Blagojevich's corruption trial to take another look at his decision to keep jurors' identities confidential.

Five news organizations, including The Associated Press, asked Judge James Zagel to release the names. They claim the public has a right to know who's deciding the case in which the former governor is charged with scheming to sell President Barack Obama's former Senate seat.

But Zagel called the request "untimely" because it came days before the trial's scheduled start.

On Friday, a three-panel judge said Zagel ruled too hastily and should hold another hearing soon to hear the media's arguments.

The appellate court's ruling doesn't reverse Zagel's decision. The juror names will stay confidential under the hearing is held and a decision is made.
