LeRoy Woman Receives 1995 Letter, 15 Years Later
LEROY, Ill. (AP) -- A letter mailed to a LeRoy woman 15 years ago has been found at the local post office.

The letter was in a regular white envelope with a postage date of July 1, 1995. The letter was meant for Lynn Poindexter, who says the situation is "pretty surprising."

Poindexter says the letter was addressed to her where she lived "three addresses ago," but she says LeRoy is "a small town, so they knew we'd moved." The letter contained a check for $30 from one of Poindexter's clients. She works as a sign-language interpreter.

Poindexter says her 17-year-old son was 2-years-old when the check was written.
