Woman Charged in Macomb Fire
MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- A western Illinois woman has been charged with setting a fire that killed her boyfriend's 2-year-old daughter.

A McDonough County grand jury indicted Stephanie Spencer on Thursday. She's charged with child endangerment and involuntary manslaughter.

The indictment accuses Spencer of taking a lighter to the mattress that Aryanna Inman was sleeping on at the Macomb home they shared.

Inman died at a hospital after the Oct. 25 fire.

Officials say the fatal blaze marked the third time that a home the family was living in caught fire. Both previous fires were ruled accidental.

Macomb Fire Chief Andy Taylor says it's likely those fires will be re-investigated.

Police say Spencer is being held on $30,000 bond at the McDonough County Jail. It wasn't immediately clear whether she has an attorney.
