Victoria Man in Court on Felony Sex and Weapons Charges
A Victoria man accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend will be back in court next month to answer the nine felony charges he faces.

Knox County Circuit Court records indicate 47-year old Charles Pollock Junior was in Knox County Circuit Court today for a first appearance with his public defender.

Pollock was arrested on the 22nd of this month. He's accused of breaking into his girlfriend's truck July 10th, and damaging it in several places, including scratching an X into the rear panel.

Then, about a week later, prosecutors allege, Pollock kidnapped the girlfriend from her home in Williamsfield to take her to his home. He is believed to have had the desire to confine her and sexually assault her.

Since then, various types of ammunition have allegedly been found in his home.

A judge today set a preliminary hearing date of August 16th.

Pollock faces charges of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Criminal Sexual Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Aggravated Kidnapping, Kidnapping, Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, Battery, and Possession of Ammunition without a valid I.D. card.

Pollock remains held ion the Knox County Jail on $300,000 bond. No bond reduction hearing has been set.
