Blago Likely to Face Menial Work in Prison
CHICAGO (AP) -- After his sentencing on federal corruption charges, ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich will likely have to get used to scrubbing toilets, mopping floors and wearing an eight-digit number on his prison clothes.

That will be a change for Blagojevich, who is more accustomed to fancy suits, a doting staff and a comfortable home in a leafy Chicago neighborhood.

Most legal experts estimate that the 54-year-old Blagojevich will get close to a 10-year prison sentence, though technically he faces up to 300 years after being convicted Monday during his retrial on 17 of 20 criminal counts.

The convictions include attempted extortion for trying to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat that Barack Obama vacated to become president.

No sentencing date has been set yet for Blagojevich.
