Galesburg Man Injured in McDonough County Crash
A local man received injuries after a crash Friday afternoon in McDonough County.

That's according to the Illinois State Police. District 14 troopers based in Macomb say the accident happened around 2:30 Friday afternoon on County Road 1200N, just slightly west of 150E.

They say 65-year old Randall Hambleton of Galesburg was headed eastbound on 12-hundred North when he somehow drove his truck off the roadway on the right side into a south ditch, then crossed both lanes of traffic, driving into a ravine on the north side of the road.

Troopers say Hambleton's vehicle came to rest straddling a creek in a farm pasture after it also went through a fence.

Hambleton, troopers say, was taken to McDonough District Hospital with what was described as moderate injuries.

It's not clear what Hambleton's current condition is, but troopers say no citations were issued.
