Crash Injures One in Henderson County
An Iowa man is injured and faces drunken driving charges after an accident in Henderson County Monday morning.

State Police in Macomb say the crash happened around 6:45am Monday on U.S. 34 near County Road 1400 East, just outside of Biggsville.

Troopers say a semi truck driven by 54-year old Jack Ohls of Brimfield was headed westbound on 34 behind a SUV driven by 21-year old Eduardo Villacorta of Iowa City.

They say Villacorta, in their words, hit the brakes hard to make a left turn into the entrance into a field.

They say Ohls couldn't slow down and struck the back end of Villacorta's vehicle, causing it to come to rest in a ditch.

Villacorta was transported to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington for treatment of what troopers described as moderate injuries.

Villacorta was charged with Driving Under the Influence as a result of the crash. His vehicle sustained major damage.

Ohls wasn't hurt, and his semi only received minor damage.
