Suspects in Two Shooting Cases Appear in Court
Some of the suspects arrested Thursday in connection to two shootings in the last week have appeared in court.

18-year old Michael Garrett appeared in Knox County Circuit Court Friday for an initial appearance. He's formally charged with three-counts of First-Degree Murder Accountability, and another count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm Accountability for last week's shooting in Kiwanis Park that claimed the life of 21-year old Jemell Ware.

Judge Scott Shiplett ordered that a $1 million bond attached to an arrest warrant for Garrett would stand, and that he'll make a first appearance with his public defender Monday morning.

Three people arrested in Chicago Thursday -- 18-year old Michael Fisher and 21-year old Kareem Dixon, both of whom face similar charges -- and 46-year old Overton Fisher, who faces murder and weapons charges, have yet to be extradited back to Knox County.

It's not clear where a 16-year old male arrested last week in the case is in the court system, because of his status as a juvenile.

Meanwhile, 17-year olds Tyrone Haywood and Devonte Parker -- the two accused of a robbery and shooting Thursday morning at a Monmouth Boulevard apartment complex, will also be back in court Monday with their Public Defenders.

The two face robbery and weapons charges. Haywood's bond was set Friday at $400,000, while Parker's is at $500,000.
