Police Seek Suspects in Assault Incident
Galesburg Police are looking for two people they say hit two women during an incident Saturday night at a local home.

Police reports indicate officers were called to a home in the 1900 block of Washington Avenue just after 7:30 Saturday night, where they say they assaulted two women -- one of whom reportedly told the two she was calling police.

Officers say 19-year old Unree Moultrie the Fourth and 21-year old William McClendon went to the home claiming that an occupant of the home stole their laptop computer.

The two then allegedly grabbed the resident's sister, pulling her down some stairs, and hit her, causing head injuries.

That's when the assault on the second woman -- a neighbor -- began. Officers say that woman had scratch marks, a cut, and an injury to her knee.

The two then fled the scene, but officers say the vehicle they were in was later recovered.

Moultrie and McClendon are wanted on charges of Mob Action and Aggravated Battery. Officers say if you spot them, call police or the Galesburg-area CrimeStoppers hotline.
