Two Jailed, Accused of Breaking Into Oneida Businesses
A Galesburg man and a Monmouth teenager both face felony charges, after the discovery of food and pizza-making materials led to some suspected burglaries.

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says Galesburg Police pulled over a vehicle around 20 minutes after four Friday morning and made the alleged discovery, and it was believed that the items were taken from Oneida. Sheriffs officials say investigators and deputies went there and discovered that a pizza restaurant and three other businesses had been broken into. Deputies say they discovered that food and cash were taken from the businesses, which were broken into by removing a window or breaking glass in a door.

Arrested were 22-year old Matthew Marfell, and 18-year old Jonathan Rigg, both on charges of Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Damage to Property, and Criminal trespass.

The two are being held in the Knox County Jail.
