Carl Sandburg College Releases Kids on Campus Schedule
KINDERMUSIK
Kindermusik is a unique, highly creative, music-learning experience for very young children. Children sing and move, chant, play simple instruments, and listen purposefully. The natural creativity of a child's mind is stimulated in a learning environment where the emphasis is on process, not performance.

KINDERMUSIK MILK & COOKIES CKM C00 600 Cost: $80 plus $52 material fee
For children ages 1-1/2 through 4 years, each accompanied by a parent. Children learn what comes naturally to them- music and movement- in an environment that fosters creative growth & emerging literacy at an individual pace. Milk & Cookies focuses on everyday home activities such as cooking, dusting and washing clothes. Baking cookies, eating cupcakes, blowing on hot cross buns, wiggling like jelly, going grocery shopping and making tea are all represented in familiar songs and activities. Wednesdays, begins 8/27/08, 15 weeks, 6-6:45 p.m., Main Campus F109

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS CKM C02 600 Cost: $150
Private 30-minute piano lessons for children grades 3 and up. Scheduled days are Monday and Tuesday after school by arrangement. Additional fee for music books paid to the instructor when needed. Monday and Tuesday by arrangement, Begins 8/25/08 or 8/26/08, 16 weeks, Main Campus Room F115

SIGN LANGUAGE FOR HOMESCHOOL CKI C00 Cost: $56(K-5) / $84 (6-12)
In this class you will learn basic sign language, manual alphabet and finger spelling. Course materials will be taught age appropriately.

HORSEMANSHIP FOR CHILD AND ADULT CKP C04 Cost: $160
This class would enable the parent or grandparent, to explore the relationship with the horse, with there children or grandchildren. This class would involve training on many aspects of introductory horsemanship. The class would teach grooming, leading, tach, horse body language and entry level riding.
