Knox County Teens Among Those Busted in Fulton County Drinking Party
A number of local teens are in trouble with the law in Fulton County after allegedly being involved in a large underage drinking party.

The Fulton County Sheriffs Department says deputies went to an area in rural Ellisville early Sunday morning after neighbors say they saw a suspicious vehicle and could hear a number of voices coming from a wooded area near the Spoon River. Deputies say between a couple of traffic stops and actually going into the wooded area, they arrested and issued citations to a dozen people.

Among those getting cited were 18-year old Jeffrey Mason of Abingdon, 17-year old Dakota Ray of Abingdon, 19-year old Jared Craver of London Mills, and 20-year old Ashley Harper of Yates City, and eight other residents from places like Canton, Hanna City, Fairview, and Normal. Craver received a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, but nearly all the other charges those arrested face are either for Possession or Consumption of Alcohol.

Deputies say all 12 people are expected to be in court next month.
