Authorities Raid Galesburg Home; Say They Found $87,000 Worth of Cocaine
UPDATED 7:43am 8/11/09 A Galesburg man is being held on $250,000 bond after police executed a search warrant at the man's home over the weekend.

Authorities from the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group say they executed a search warrant at 1961 Washington Street in Galesburg in the early morning hours on Saturday where they seized 865 grams of alleged cocaine, a digital scale and nearly $2,000 in cash.

Officials say they arrested 37-year old John A Pryor Jr. and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Resisting Arrest.

The authorities say the street value of the seized cocaine is estimated at nearly $87,000.

Pryor is currently being held in the Knox County Jail awaiting his court date.
