More Details Released in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
UPDATED 11:03am & 3:04pm 8/3/09 Knox County sheriff's deputies have released a few more details surrounding the crash that killed a motorcycle driver and son of former U.S. Agriculture Secretary John Block.

The sheriff's department says 47-year old Gregory Dentino was the driver of the car involved in the crash that somehow came into contact with a motorcycle driven by 50-year old Hans Block of rural Gilson.

Deputies say the accident happened around 6pm Friday in the 1300 block of Knox County Highway 7. Block was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say Dentino was not injured, but they're still not saying officially whose vehicle hit the other. Eyewitnesses tell WGIL it appears that the car had struck Block's motorcycle.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. It's not clear if Dentino will be ticketed.

Funeral services for Block will be Wednesday morning at 11 am at Grace Anglican Church in Galesburg, with a visitation Tuesday evening from five to eight at Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville.
