Firefighters to be Twilight Parade Grand Marshals
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Four firefighters will serve as grand marshals at the Illinois State Fair's Twilight Parade.

Organizers say picking the firefighters is in keeping with this year's fair theme "Cream of the Crop.'' State Fair Manager Amy Bliefnick says the fair wanted to recognize the brave men and women who risk their lives in Illinois every day.

The 2010 grand marshals are: Oak Lawn Fire Department Lieutenant Michael McCastland; Marion firefighter Steven Williams and Macomb firefighters Steve Teslicka and Ryan Hotz.

The Twilight Parade will be held Thursday evening. The fair runs from Friday through Aug. 22.
