Differing Views on Blago Jury
Legal experts disagree on how close jurors are to a verdict in the corruption trial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Jurors say they've reached agreement on two of 24 counts and haven't discussed 11 wire fraud counts. Judge James Zagel told them Thursday to deliberate some more.

Chicago-Kent College of Law professor Richard Kling says it's impossible to know what the jury is saying, but if the wire counts haven't been addressed, jurors could be deliberating into next week.

But former Judge David Erickson says when judges tell jurors to deliberate more, they often return quickly with a verdict.

Erickson says the jury's apparent deadlock on 11 counts looks good for the defense. He says if 12 jurors can't make up their minds, it shows they have doubts prosecutors made their case.
