Mmmm...Butter Cow...
This year's Illinois State Fair butter cow has gotten loose in the cornfield! Sculptor Sharon BuMann, New York , created this year's version in conjunction with the state fair''s theme -- "Cream of the Crop."

The Jersey cow is standing among stalks of corn, with a bucket of corn toppled over. Amber Heinrich, who lives just across the Illinois border in Maquoketa, Iowa , is the Illinois intern at the Midwest Dairy Association. One of her duties was to help in the diary building, where this year's butter cow has been unveiled. She says Illinois' butter cow is better than Iowa's because it’s a full cow with a view from every direction.

BuMann left the state fair within minutes of completing the sculpture to head to another state where she’s scheduled to work on another sculpture.
