Three Arrested on Drug Charges
Three Galesburg residents are under arrest after a search of an apartment the three were in allegedly turned up drugs and cash.

Galesburg police say officers went to Knox Crest Apartments on South Academy Street around 6am Friday to search an apartment there.

There, officers say they discovered around 15 grams of alleged crack cocaine, along with a quarter-pound of alleged marijuana, an electronic scale, and $2,300 in cash.

Police say Tavarse Buckley, Jessica Brown, and Latosha Pacheco, all of Galesburg, were arrested, but police didn't release their ages.

All three face possession of cannabis charges, while Buckley and Brown each face three-counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, along with one-count each of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.

Buckley and Brown are being held in the Knox County Jail pending court proceedings. Pacheco, meanwhile, posted bond and was released.

Authorities say their investigation is continuing.
