Next Item Up for Bids: Blago's Elvis Statue
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (AP) -- A suburban Chicago storage facility plans to auction off seven vaults full of files, photographs and other items -- including a life-size statute of Elvis -- that belong to Rod Blagojevich's campaign fund.

The items have been in storage at Boyer-Rosene Moving & Storage, but a company executive says Friends of Blagojevich owes thousands of dollars in fees that are past due. The auction is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

Executive Joe Saverino says he put aside some items that appeared personal and will try to return them to the former governor.

The auction comes after Blagojevich was convicted this week of lying to the FBI. A federal judge declared a mistrial on the other charges against him.
