Bradley University Gets Face Lift
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Students returning to class at Bradley University this week will notice some changes on campus.

The college in Peoria is almost halfway through a five-year $150 million capital plan which has included a new student center.

Most recently completed is an athletics facility and 4,200 seat arena.

The new structures added up to about $100 million. There have also been about $30 million worth of renovations and expansions.

When the plan is complete the university will get almost 25 percent more space with the added square footage taken into account.

Nearly 6,000 students attend Bradley. Classes start Wednesday.

Jeff Bieschke is a senior from Chicago who's studying sports communications. He says the changes improve the university.
