Jury Foreman in Blagojevich Case Right Man for Job
CHICAGO (AP) -- Fellow jurors and friends say the foreman at Rod Blagojevich's corruption trial was just the person for the job.

James Matsumoto is a 66 year old retired video librarian who jurors and friends say keeps calm when things get tough.

The jury found Blagojevich guilty of just one of 24 counts after 14 days of deliberations.

The jury was divided 11-1 on counts surrounding accusations Blagojevich wanted to auction off Barack Obama's former Senate seat.

Matsumoto says he was thankful for the holdout juror; it taught him to have respect for another's opinion.

He says he feels a slight sense of failure after the verdict, but jurors did the best they could.

Matsumoto was born to Japanese immigrants in an interment camp during World War II.
