New Rule May Mean No More Pork Chops
LeROY, Ill. (AP) -- The Kiwanis Club in LeRoy has cooked up pork chops and ribeye sandwiches at high school football games in the central Illinois town for years.

But that tradition might end with a new health regulation.

McLean County Health Department spokeswoman Erin Tolle-Link says local schools now can only get two permits a year to sell food at special events unless the food is precooked.

Kiwanis member Denna Satchwell says the club is trying to figure out if there's still a way to sell food and so far isn't sure. The money raised supports the group's program to help families in need at Christmas time.

In nearby Stanford, the Olympia High School FFA says it may only sell food at two games. That would cut the money it would otherwise raise.<
