"Other" Candidates Say They're Better for Office
The two-party system does not help the real people, according to people fighting for spots on the Illinois election ballot. The success of the Green Party in gaining access is inspiring the Libertarians and Constitution Party.

"I made an oath to protect and defend this Constitution," says Randy Stufflebeam. "We have got to take our state and our country back...from the hands of corruption, from those elites that are up there that have been pervasively voted in time and time again."

Stufflebeam is the Midwestern regional chairman for the Constitution Party and was the state chairman for five years. He's now U. S. Senate candidate from Illinois, pending an appeal of a ballot challenge. The Board of Elections is not allowing the Constitution Party on the ballot due to insufficient valid signatures.
