Quinn Campaign Defends Gun Ad
Is it a legitimate concern, or a distortion? The Quinn for Governor campaign is standing by a commercial on assault weapons that is running in Chicago. That ad includes a photo of a gun that gun experts say is already illegal in Illinois.

Mica Matsoff, spokeswoman for the Pat Quinn campaign, says it's not misleading because Brady has repeatedly voted against, or at least opposed, gun laws. She says it's important to remember that Brady's views need to be outlined before the fall election.

The Bill Brady campaign says this ad is more distortion and manipulation of Brady's record. Spokeswoman Patty Shuh says Quinn should talk about issues like the economy and jobs.
