Three Arrested for Alleged Galesburg Meth Lab
The arrest of a Mississippi Man for allegedly purchasing an ingredient used in the manufacture of methamphetamine has resulted in the discovery of a suspected full-blown meth lab.

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says a traffic stop was initiated Thursday afternoon where the driver -- 32-year old Eric Seideman of Macom, Mississippi, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Unawful Acquisition of a Meth Precursor. A passenger -- 39-year old Laura Barry of Galesburg -- was arrested on a Warren County warrant.

Deputies say they, Galesburg Police, and the State Police Meth Response Team then went to Barry's South Seminary Street Apartment where they allegedly discovered methamphetamine, and materials used to make meth.

Seideman was then charged with Aggravated Participation in Meth Production, Possession of a Meth Precursor With Intent to Manufacture, Possession of Meth-Manufacturing Materials, and Possession of Meth.

Another resident -- 38-year old Jody Hopkins, was arrested on a Meth Possession charge.

Seideman and Hopkins are in the Knox County Jail, while Barry is at Warren County. All three are awaiting future court proceedings.
