Dozens Line Up in Northwestern Ill. to See Obama
ATKINSON, Ill. (AP) -- Dozens of people lined up early to see President Barack Obama at the first of two meetings he's holding in rural Henry County in northwestern Illinois.

Jean Causemaker and her friend, Mary Kay Franks of Atkinson, are Obama supporters. They were determined to see him when they found out he'd be in town Wednesday.

But not everyone who showed up had tickets to the event like Causemaker and Franks.

A handful of people gathered across the street hoping to catch a glimpse of Obama's bus.

Cheryl Roberts traveled from nearby Bureau County with her two granddaughters and camped along the road. The Obama supporter says she hopes Obama talks about jobs while he's in Illinois.

Obama will do a townhall meeting in Atkinson before traveling to Alpha for another event.
