Not Guilty Plea in Knox County Kidnapping Case
A Victoria man accused of kidnapping a woman he was in a relationship and sexually assaulting her, among other charges, says he's not guilty.

Knox County Circuit Court records indicate 47-year old Charles Pollock the Second was in Knox County Court Tuesday, where a judge found probable cause for him to stand trial on a host of felony charges, including Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Criminal Sexual Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Kidnapping, Aggravated Kidnapping, Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of Ammunition Without a Valid I.D. Card, and misdemeanor counts.

Pollock was arrested July 22nd. He is accused of, 12 days earlier, damaging his girlfriend's pickup several ways including scratching an X into the rear panel. He also allegedly, a week later, kidnapped the woman, taking her back to Victoria with the intent of secretly confining her and committing sexual acts on her.

Pollock through public defender Karl Johnson also asked for a trial by jury. The judge also denied a request to lower Pollock's 300-thousand dollar bail.

Court records say Pollock will be back in court September sixth.
