Man Who Escaped from Custody Caught
The man who escaped from Fulton County custody Monday has been found after what authorities described as a large-scale search.

The Fulton County Sheriffs Department says authorities apprehended 28-year old Kyle Williams around six o'clock Tuesday morning.

Deputies say Williams broke free from some handcuffs yesterday near VIT High School in Table Grove during a transfer from McDonough County authorities to Fulton County authorities around two o'clock Monday afternoon.

They say Williams ran from police into a wooded area southeast of Table Grove.

Deputies from a number of area agencies and the Illinois State Police Air Operations were called in to help search, but no one was found.

They say thanks to a tip, Williams was found at a home in Astoria.

In addition to the methamphetamine manufacturing and other charges Williams originally faced, he now faces charges of Escape, Resisting a Peace Officer, and Obstructing a Peace Officer.

28-year old Cassie Bent was also arrested at the home, also charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer.

Both are now being held in the Fulton County Jail.
