Law Enforcement Team Up On Meth Bust
Four different law enforcement agencies collaborated on a traffic stop revealing methamphetamine in Mommouth early Monday morning.

33 year old Kevin Strange and 35 year old Matthew Johnson, both of Monmouth, were arrested and charged with Aggravated Participation in Meth Production, Possession of Meth Precursors, and Possession of Meth Making Materials.

Warren County Sheriffs Officers, Monmouth Police, West Central Illinois Task Force, and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team were all involved in the traffic stop conducted on 6th Street and Broadway Monday morning just after midnight.

Other details have yet to be released at this time. Strange and Johnson are both being held at the Warren County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
