Peoria's Prairie Air Show Future In Doubt
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- The board that runs Peoria's airport says it may no longer host the Prairie Air Show.

The Journal Star in Peoria reports that the board is considering ending the show because organizers didn't meet the terms of their contract. That includes not leaving behind litter and booking a team of jets each year.

Brett Krause is the show's executive director. He says the show has featured a jet team in five of the past 10 years. He believes that's a good track record for a show of its size.

Airport Authority commissioner Mike Landwirth says the airport could look for other groups to run an airshow. A meeting is planned this week on the issue.

The air show moved to Peoria in 2002 after a 17-year run in Bloomington-Normal.
