Memorial Set For Chicago Victim of Stage Collapse
CHICAGO (AP) -- A memorial service is planned for next week to honor a 29-year-old Chicago woman who died when a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair.

Christina Santiago managed programming at the Lesbian Community Care Project at Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago. The center, along with the group Amigas Latinas, said Tuesday that Santiago will be remembered at a Saturday memorial. The service is open to the public and will be at the Chicago History Museum. Santiago was a board member for Amigas Latinas.

Santiago's partner, Alisha Marie Brennon, was injured in the Aug. 13 stage collapse. Santiago was one of seven people who died.

Howard Brown president and CEO Jamal Edwards called Santiago one of the organization's ``brightest stars.''
