Science and Business Center Headline Monmouth's Upgrades
Monmouth College's future center for Science and Business is the backbone of a multi-year construction process totaling forty-million dollars.

Director of Construction Services at the College Roger Hess says preliminary construction is under way for the what the college is calling the new "Integrated Learning Center."

"Construction of the building itself is to be completed in 2013 for that particular fall class, it's about 18 months worth of construction work, and then moving and outfitting the building," Hess tells WGIL. "We've got a lot of other little projects going on, kind of getting ready for the building, most of those projects will be done in three months or so."

One of those projects is the new 100-car parking lot on 11th street that will be finished by time classes start August 23rd.

Hess says the admission's office will also undergo remodeling that he hopes will be complete by the end of the month.
