Two Arrested for Rural Meth Lab
Two Gilson residents are accused of having a methamphetamine lab in the home they shared in rural Gilson.

The Knox County Sheriffs Department says deputies went to the home on Knox Road 1075 East around noon Tuesday, after obtaining a search warrant. Inside, they don't specifically say what was found, other than a suspected methamphetamine lab.

Deputies say 29-year old Michelle Gillam, and 37-year old William Shea were both arrested and face preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials, Possession of Meth Precursors With Intent to Manufacture, and Unlawful Participation of Meth Manufacturing.

Shea faces an additional charge of Unlawful Use of Property.

Gillam and Shea are being held in the Knox County Jail pending future court appearances.

The State Police Meth Response Team helped sheriffs deputies, and officials say an investigation continues.
