Man Pleads Guilty to Felony Drug Charges
An Abingdon man will serve no more time in jail after recently pleading guilty to a drug operation in Galesburg.

Knox County Circuit Court records indicate 23-year old Blake Johnson pleaded guilty Friday to three Class-two felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.

In exchange, Judge Scott Shipplett sentenced Johnson to 180 days in the Knox County Jail with credit for 180 days already served.

Johnson and 27-year old Joshua Foster were arrested in late-March after the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group raided Foster's home Florence Avenue home March 30th.

Authorities say they found around five-hundred grams of cannabis as a result.

Foster, after pleading guilty last month to a felony charge of Possession of Cannabis in July, was sentenced to five-years in prison.

Johnson must also serve four-years on probation in the case.

A special prosecutor was used, due to a potential conflict of interest within the Knox County Courthouse.
