Fire Destroys Wonder/Hostess Store
FIRST REPORTED 6am 8/19/12 A business on Grand Avenue is all but completely gutted following an overnight fire.

Galesburg Fire Department officials say crews were called to the Wonder Bread/Hostess facility on Grand Aveue just before 11pm Saturday, for a blaze that officials say started in the southern part of the building in the area of some offices.

Fire damage, they say, was there, and also got into the store area as well. They say a strorage area for the Wonder/Hostess delivery trucks was left unscathed for the most part.

Investigators don't yet know what caused the fire. They say they'll be out Sunday looking into it.

No one was believed to be inside the Wonder/Hostess Facility when the fire broke out, and there were no injuries.

The fire was under control quickly, and was put out in around an hour or so.

Abingdon and Knoxville fire crews responded to Galesburg to cover the rest of the city for a short period of time.
