Goodwill Schedules Next Free Computer Course in Galesburg
Goodwill Industries is offering pre-screening for its next session of Computer Basics, a four-week beginners class designed to help people build confidence and develop job skills to improve their employment opportunities.

The class is free to qualified applicants. A $10 deposit is required at registration and is returned upon completion of the course. The class meets Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will run from October 20th through November 14th at the Goodwill Vocational Services Center at 1931 Grand Avenue in Galesburg.

Individuals interested in taking the class need to attend a pre-screening session on either Tuesday, October 14 or Wednesday, October 15 between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Grand Avenue facility. To make an appointment, call Lisa or Vikki at 309-342-1055.

Training is offered free to the public as part of the mission of Goodwill. Information on other classes in Peoria and Galesburg is available by calling 309-682-1113 (Peoria) or 309-342-1055 (Galesburg) or by visiting www.goodwillpeo.org.
