$40K Worth of Pot Seized From Warren County Home
POSTED: 2:50pm 9/9/08 A Galesburg man and two rural Warren County residents are jailed after what authorities say is a large amount of drugs that were found in the home of the Warren County residents.

Warren County State's Attorney Albert "Chip" Algren issued a news release Tuesday saying that the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force and the Quad Cities Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group went to 1620 Berwick Road last Friday afternoon, where, he says, 34 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, and roughly 12 guns were seized. The street value of the Cannabis, Algren says, is roughly $40,000.

Arrested were 52-year old Andy Ackman, 59-year old Carroll Dean Johnson, and 48-year old Deborah Wilson.

Algren says Ackman is being held in the Warren County Jail on $200,000 bond and is charged with a Class-X felony count of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, another possession charge, and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Wilson and Johnson each face 12-counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, along with one-count of Possession of Methamphetamine, though Algren says Johnson's charges carry more weight due to a prior conviction.

Wilson's bond was set Saturday at $7,500, while Johnson's was set at $10,000.

All three made court appearances Tuesday morning.
