Blago Begins Book Tour
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Rod Blagojevich media blitz is in high gear as the ousted Illinois governor's book hits shelves.

The Illinois Democrat took to the airwaves today for a media tour to promote his 264-page book, which is being released Tuesday.

The book gives Blagojevich's view of the scandal that led to federal charges that accuse Blagojevich of -- among other things -- trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama.

During appearances on NBC's "Today Show" and on WLS Radio in Chicago, Blagojevich continued to deny any wrongdoing. He says the comments prosecutors have captured on wiretap tapes have been taken out of context and he'll be vindicated when the entire tapes are released.

Blagojevich is slated to continue his blitz with appearances on "The View" on Wednesday and on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday.
