Enrollment Down at WIU Macomb Campus
MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Western Illinois University officials say enrollment at the school's primary campus is down this fall. That follows a trend of declining fall enrollment around the state.

Enrollment at Western's smaller Moline campus, however, is up.

Western has 10,487 students enrolled in Macomb this fall. That down 2.8 percent from 10,785 a year earlier.

Enrollment in Moline is up 1.5 percent to 1,413.

Both Southern Illinois and Eastern Illinois universities have reported declines in fall enrollment.
