Chicago Olympic Committee Gets Key IOC Report
CHICAGO (AP) -- The leader of Chicago's Olympic bid says none of the issues raised by the International Olympic Committee about its bid for the 2016 Summer Games are "unresolve-able."

Local Olympic organizers say they've worked to fix the outstanding issues raised in a key IOC report that gives Chicago generally good marks.

Wednesday's report comes a month before the IOC picks the host city for the 2016 Summer Games. Chicago is a finalist along with Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.

Bid leader Patrick Ryan says there are no issues that can't be corrected to satisfy the IOC.

The IOC has lingering questions about Chicago's financial guarantees and a public transportation system that would be challenged by a spike in riders.

The IOC's evaluation report assessed the bids of all four candidate cities.
