Cemetery Oversight Board Presents Report Tuesday
The Cemetery Oversight Task Force is expected to release its report Tuesday. Gov. Pat Quinn crated the task force to investigate the tragedy at Burr Oak Cemetery in Alsip, where bodies were dug up and burial plots resold.

The task force last week questioned state Comptroller Dan Hynes and many members, including State Rep. Ken Dunkin (D-Chicago), blamed Hynes for the incident, saying his office neglected to check up on Burr Oak. Hynes claims his office regulates only cemetery financial matters.

When asked by reporters if Hynes was being treated unfairly, Quinn said he is "not going to prejudge anything" and is waiting for the report to be released. He added that anyone in public office must be held accountable for his actions.

Hynes is challenging Quinn in the primary for the Democratic nomination for governor.
