Offices Won't Be First to Offer H1N1 Shots
CHICAGO (AP) -- If you're used to getting regular flu shots at the office, chances are things will be a little different with "swine flu."

Only high-risk groups will get the first vaccine batches. Health providers, not offices, will initially be the main sources.

With local input, Illinois' Public Health Department is deciding which providers will offer vaccine at almost 3,000 sites. Chicago's Public Health Department will do the same for about 1,000 sites. Initially, these will be mostly hospitals, doctors' offices and clinics.

Dr. Craig Conover of the Illinois Public Health Department says authorities will open up the process to the population at large as soon as they can.

Chicago is among cities also planning vaccinations at mass immunization sites, possibly at schools or parks.

Vaccines supplies are due next month.
