Senate Candidate Seeks Transperency
CHICAGO (AP) -- David Hoffman is promising to give the public more information about his meetings, spending and campaign fundraising if he's elected to the U.S. Senate.

The Chicago Democrat said Tuesday that showing people the inner workings of a Senate office can help restore trust in government.

Hoffman promises to post all his daily Senate schedules online, including every person and group he meets with.

He also says he'll post his entire office budget and the salaries for all employees.

And the former inspector general for Chicago says he will list all the campaign donors who "bundle" contributions together.

Hoffman's opponents include Alexi Giannoulias and Cheryle Robinson Jackson.
